When a telemarketer calls you what is the first thing they do? Ask a question where the only possible answer is “yes”. We immediately recognize this and are quick to end a conversation or just hang up.

The professional sales world has bastardized this principle to the point where it is barely recognizable, but as today’s guest Reece Theriot explains, when this principle is used with a genuine intent it can be very effective for leading others and gaining willing cooperation.
