Let the Other Person Feel the Idea is his or hers

What makes you want to do something more? When someone tells you to do something, or when you decide for yourself that it needs to be done?

Dale Carnegie proposes that when people have an idea for themselves, they are more likely to own that idea and follow it through to the end.

Today Zachary Barker from the Opportunity Machine joins the podcast to discuss how letting the other person feel the idea is his or hers can help improve camaraderie and build team ownership.

This is a long one but a good discussion. Barker gives a ton of great insight into this topic as well as shares some personal accounts of how using this principle has been worth millions!

Enjoy!
