Try Honestly to see from the Other Person’s Point of View

What happens to communication when we dig in on our own opinion? How likely are we to be open to new ideas that could actually benefit us or the company?

Dale Carngie’s 17th human relations principle is “Try honestly to see things from the person’s point of view.” This principle can help keep us from falling into the trap of always having to be right and possibly alienating differing opinions.

Lafayette Airport Deputy Director Daniel Elsea joins us today to talk about his experiences when using this principle and how it has helped him get things done in creative ways.
